This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations, modifications, and refunds are processed for bookings made with VIAJES CALVO SL, trading as CalvoTravel. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Customer Cancellations

• More than 31 days before check-in: 100% refund of the booking total (excluding any non-refundable service or payment processing fees).
• 7–31 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• 7 days or less before check-in: No refund will be issued.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@calvotravel.com from the same email address used to make the booking.

3. No-Show & Early Departure

No refunds are issued for no-shows or early departures after check-in, regardless of the reason.

4. Booking Modifications

• For high-demand locations, no modifications are permitted within 60 days prior to check-in for any booking with a total value exceeding €5,000. This policy ensures availability, prevents last-minute disruptions, and maintains fairness for both property owners and guests. All customers are informed of this rule prior to confirming their reservation

5. Cancellations by CalvoTravel

In the unlikely event that CalvoTravel must cancel a confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., property damage, double-booking, force majeure), we will offer:

• A full refund of all payments received, OR
• An equivalent or upgraded rental property at no additional cost (subject to availability).

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval, using the original payment method. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank, payment provider, or currency exchange timelines.

7. Non-Refundable Charges

Service fees, bank transfer costs, and currency conversion fees are non-refundable unless the cancellation is initiated by CalvoTravel.

8. Force Majeure

CalvoTravel is not liable to provide a refund if the booking is affected by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or political unrest. In such cases, rebooking options may be offered.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events. This ensures your trip is protected even if you cannot travel for reasons beyond your control.
